Meet Julie at Alumwell Junior School. Part of the Cadmus Family federation and based in the West Midlands, this large school focuses on excellence and enjoyment for its young learners. With an aging phone system limiting their communications, Julie was looking to bring school telephones up to date. Safeguarding was a top priority for Julie, so features like call recording were a must. She needed a cloud based solution to future proof communications and offer better flexibility, within a school budget.
The Answer
When Julie decided to upgrade the school telephone system, she turned to Connaught, her existing provider. Already happy with our service, she needed an install which would improve communications at Alumwell Junior with minimal disruption to school life.
We upgraded the cabling on site and installed a dedicated broadband line to keep connection running smoothly without affecting IT systems. Alongside upgrading office phones, we fitted each classroom with a brand new handset for safeguarding, meaning alerts could be sent throughout the school at the touch of a button.
